DYING DYING DYING DYING DYING DYING DYING. That’s all I can say. This wedding was unbelievable in every way. Perfect clients. Perfect family. Perfect vendors. Perfect location. Perfect design. I was in love with every step of the way. Our inspiration began with a kite. Then we started seeing kites popping up all over the blog-o-sphere, so we kind of modified it a bit to everything cute paper. Let me just break down some design aspects for you:
Invitations: We started with a kite. And BOY, did Posh Paperie NAIL it! They even were complete with a cute kite “tail” that came off of the invite! LOVED THEM!
Tables: Crisp, white linen scattered with colored bird houses, and vintage milkglass full of whimsical florals by JL_Designs.
Dessert Display: Sweet and Saucy’s amazingness (as usual) with a backdrop of helium filled balloons creating our color scheme and funky decor style.
Guest Book: Hand crafted kite, covered in vintage fabric. We also cut a bunch of strips of fabric for the guests to “sign” and then tie to the “tail” of our kite. LOVED IT.
Ceremony Magic: TONS of handmade pinwheels, flowers, kites, and more covering the altar. Sweet floral print fabric lining the aisle and pinwheels on sticks lining the chairs. Mr. Haack was KEY in the ceremony decor installation. It would NOT have come together so beautifully without him.
Party Favor: You wouldn’t have known it, but this was a 4th of July wedding, so I snuck in some fun party blowers. I also sneakily handed them out to the bridal party to blow loud and clear when the newlyweds had their first kiss in the ceremony. It ended up being one of my favorite aspects of the wedding!

Saddlerock is one of my very favorite venues and this wedding fits so perfectly there!! What a unique design idea!! I LOVE IT!!!
What fun, creative wedding! This couple looks like they had so much fun at their wedding….the way all couples should look
I can honestly say that this is one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen. The details are phenomenal. The paper flower arch is amazing. So much eye candy. You truly have a gift Jesi and I’m sure this couple couldn’t be more grateful!

I know, right?! Everything is so incredibly inspired…and inspir-ING. The altar, the desserts, the pinwheels, the flowers – it’s all just jaw dropping. I feel like this one wedding just raised the bar!
This wedding blows my mind, your work is exquisite!
JESI! YOU are blowing me away. YOU HAVE A GIFT! This is wonderful, wonderful! So proud of you, friend!
Where o where did you obtain that unbelievably gorgeous floral patterned aisle runner?
This is one of my top 10 weddings ever. The paper planes, the kites… it all just kills me.
I can’t even stand it! YOU ARE INCREDIBLE. I read your blog/twitter, and I’m always blown away by your creativity…but really, this one just about killed me. I’m only jealous that it wasn’t my own wedding!
Amazing. I can say that the design, feel, and style of this wedding is easily one of my top five favorites that I’ve ever seen! It’s so fun, so alive, so vibrant! Beautiful job capturing this wonderful day.
Beautiful, beautiful! Like a fairytale.
Jesi!!!!! You knocked it out of the park. LOVE LOVE LOVE. And Lauren is seriously so freakin adorable that I just can’t even stand it!!!
Jesi,
LOVE your work and your blog! I was wondering if you’d mind sharing how you made the bride’s flowered headpiece? It is to die for!
Many thanks!
Thanks Alyssa! Sure, i just found some fun, fake flowers at Michaels, and pulled the ones I liked off of the stems, and hot glued them to a barret. The bride later clipped it to a cute headband. So easy!!
Just darling!!! You’re soooooooooooo clever, Jesi!
