Sassy Country Chic
Monday, April 26th, 2010Kimberly and David. It seriously DOES NOT get any sweeter. So much of their personality was displayed in our design of their wedding. ”Journey, that is what we think our love and relationship has been”. This is what catapulted the entire design. I took this statement from them and built on it. Not to mention “Don’t Stop Believing” is one of my favorite songs
We had trinkets all over from their childhood. Lots of old and new contrast. Their “guest book” was old address tags stamped for their guests to sign. Escort cards were displayed on similar tags on vintage window shutters. We created a candy “bar” with old cigar boxes. The party favor was a bag filled with childhood games from their past displayed in a vintage suitcase. We strung paper airplanes made of maps above the ceremony setting. One of my favorite details were the cowboy boots on the girls. So sassy, so country, so CHIC. And we tied it all together with a backdrop of enlarged, vintage flashcards spelling out “LOVE IS OUR JOUNEY”. ENJOY THE JOURNEY

Friday, April 2nd, 2010Yes, Mr Haack is hot. Yes, he can grow a mean mustache. Yes, he is an amazing father. An amazing husband. BUT, he is also an extremely talented photographer!!! And he has this extremely exciting feature to prove it! Do you remember the Grumpy Old Men post I put up a while back? So hilarious and inventive. Mr. Haack caught it all on his lens, so go over to Hostess with the Mostess immediately to see the feature! I am so proud!!
