Styling a proposal photo shoot? SURE! Besides the fact that I am obsessed with Aaron Shintaku and I would do ANYTHING for him, I LOVE the couple getting engaged! A couple of weeks ago Shintaku shot a lifestyle shoot of Josh and Michelle, check it out here. So Josh’s idea was to tell Michelle that a huge blog was interested in doing a series based on that shoot. So “they” asked Jesi Haack Weddings to style it and Aaron Shintaku to shoot a picnic style, romantic shoot. Poor girl. Thought she was gonna be famous, instead she just got…ENGAGED!!!
We set up a paisley print blanket, purchased some matching baskets to put the food, plates and even a floral arrangement in. We also created a false note, and used the napkins to pop the big question!
This was definitely one of my favorite projects so far. Getting to be there (trying to blend in to the background and give them privacy) during their engagement was such a sweet experience!!!
