As most of you know, I started out in the wedding biz trying my hand out at cakes. I quickly realized that my gifts existed in the design and planning side of the industry, but I still enjoy whipping up a fun cake once in a while….nothing like my girl Melody at Sweet and Saucy Shop, but fun nonetheless! If you only knew the story behind trying to get this thing to even remotely look like the shape of an egg, you would die laughing….

One of my ever so fabulous brides from the weekend wore a beautiful silk bolero over her dress as she entered her reception. It screamed, “I’m so cooool!” I love how different it made her look.
